Kidney Garden Alternative Selections

A Butterfly Bush ‘Pink Delight’ – Pure pink blooms are borne in dense trusses, 12 to 15 inches long. Easy to grow and attractive to butterflies.

B Purple Coneflower – Excellent cut flower loved by butterflies and goldfinch.

C Salvia – Blooms early summer on neat, compact plants that grow 16 to 20 inches tall.

D Sedum – Grows in dry soil. Fall blooming favorite.

E Coreopsis – Height 12 to 24 inches. Foliage divided, fern-like. Long bloomer of starry flowers.
